Ever felt that electric pull toward someone that made your heart flutter and your stomach tighten, but left you scanning, waiting, bracing? Ever mistaken intensity for love, anxiety for chemistry, the rush of their text for connection? In this deeply honest episode of The Manifestation Method, I'm unpacking the difference between coherence and polarity—and why most of us were trained to confuse nervous system activation for destiny.

I'm opening with the truth: polarity is the spark, the charge, the magnetic pull that feels intoxicating and fated, but it often comes with anxiety, highs and lows, and that familiar feeling of wanting something just out of reach. Coherence is different. Coherence is when your nervous system feels settled, aligned, at home in itself. When your heart, body, and intuition are all saying the same thing at once. Polarity creates intensity. Coherence creates safety.

Drawing on Kabbalistic teaching about Tiferet (the heart on the Tree of Life where Chesed and Gevurah come into balance). I'm revealing why polarity without coherence is what happens when your soul swings between overgiving and pulling back, merging and protecting, without ever landing in center. One moment you're in Chesed, longing, wanting to be closer. The next you're in Gevurah, guarded, afraid of getting hurt. That back and forth creates drama, obsession, the feeling that someone else holds power over your emotions.

I'm breaking down the two scenarios: sitting across from someone charming and mysterious, heart fluttering, stomach tight, mind future-tripping, slightly performing, energetically up in your head scanning and bracing. That's polarity. Versus sitting across from someone where your shoulders drop, your jaw softens, you can breathe before you speak, you're grounded and present. There's attraction but it's steady, warmth without the spike, interest without anxiety. That's coherence.

This episode includes my personal story with Beryl, how we didn't have the loud overwhelming fireworks I was used to (the kind that burned out faster than I could turn on the fire), but instead a quiet knowing: this is different, this is stability. We chose to take that small fire and build it inside the container of marriage—because a fire that starts raging burns out, but a fire that starts steady can be stoked over time into warmth, devotion, home.

You'll learn why healthy relationships absolutely should have polarity (spark, differentiation, desire), but that polarity must be held inside coherence or it turns into chaos. Why you can want someone deeply and still feel safe in yourself, feel attraction without your nervous system going into overdrive. And why fireworks often come from nervous system activation (something familiar and unresolved being touched), not true compatibility.

Whether you're choosing a partner or questioning your current relationship, this episode offers the question that changes everything: Does this feel like coherence or polarity? Does my body feel settled or activated? Can I be more of myself or less? Am I grounded in truth or trying to secure something outside me because of an attachment wound?

Press play and discover: you don't heal by choosing the right person, you heal by choosing coherence. When you do, the people who need you to be small fall away, and the people who can meet you in your truth stay for the ride.
